It is an instrument you try and steer. Fortunately the complex stuff is under the hood, you use the intuitive GUi to wrangle new ideas and bend new sounds without getting bogged down with details. Merge and melt the unexpected into ravishing new music with a daft grin on your face.... This really has been a labour of love and is based on two interlocking thoughts. what if everything had an effect on everything? what if every note could do different stuff ? So... the signal flow gubbins is like a wobbly Jenga, add a bit more of one thing and the centre might not hold - but in a good way. The 4GB of pianos, strings and flutes are semi irrelevant, they are sonic placeholders with a job to do in different parts of the frequency and transient spectrums. They all get smurged (I just invented that word) through the effects and feedback/forward loops inside and come out changed, changed for the better. a different sequencer on every note leads to endless possibilities: rate, steps, swing and randomness can be different for each - or they can all be the same. It became too overwhelming to make snapshots because with that much freedom when do you stop ? So there are 100 starting points to kick you into your own explorations.
